A special recipe for you

Today I'd like to share a special recipe with all of you... it's suitable not only for Hari Raya, but for any occasions, any days throughout the year. Even if you're not a good cook, I'm sure you can do this one if you try...

A HAPPY HOME RECIPE

4 cups love
2 cups loyalty
3 cups forgiveness
1 cup friendship
1 large bunch of smiles
5 spoons hope
2 spoons tenderness
4 quarts faith
1 barrel laughter
3 pints consideration for others

Take love and loyalty,
mix thoroughly with faith
Blend with tenderness,
kindness, and understanding
Add hope, friendship, and
abundant laughter
Top freely with smiles and
consideration for others
Bake with bright sunshine
Serve daily in generous helpings.

Now, you all don't forget to try it, okay?

  4. Kak Teh,
Overbake under the bright sunshine? Well, it becomes hitam. Tapi tak apa, this one however hitam... hitam-hitam sitampuk manggis, walaupun hitam dipandang manis... ;)

  5. Helo Pi, hehe i got a Lemon cheesecake...wonder how it became a cheesecake?

  6. Nightwing,
Oh, that's easy. With the large bunch of smiles you put in, you had probably posed a lot more for the camera and said "CHEESE" a lot. So yours became a cheesecake... :)

  10. Hi&lo,
Ahah... the equivalent to "garam secukup rasa" is missing from the ingredients eh? No, for this recipe the few drops of tears not a necessity... there's already a barrel of laughter and tears will come out when one laughs too much... hehe...

  15. Pi,
I have been cooking for the past 34 yrs. I know very well that your recipe works. Dont worry too much about the proportion of each individual ingredients. Experiment with it till you get the best combination. Trials and tribulations are part of the process.

  17. Hi Pi

Finally I have time to blog. I've been a little distracted lately.

Good recipe you have here. I tried it and it came out ok... not perfect but served it anyway because that was the best I could do. Despite that, in return, I received 'muffins of joy'. :)

  18. JT,
It may not be perfect, but as Zawi mentioned, experiment with it until you get the best combination. In return you will get even more yummylicious muffins of joy!

    Have a nice weekend, JT!
